ANSWERS TO PRAYER
December 30th, 2008 GUINEA
Thank you for praying for a peaceful transition in Guinea after the death of the president. This appears to be taking place. Please continue to pray for peace and for open doors for ministry.
Brais, a Yanomami believer, had the opportunity to speak at a conference of tribal leaders and witch doctors. Please pray for Yanomami believers to stand strong and faithful even as the culture around them seeks to build up the number of witch doctors in the area.
December 9th, 2008 PAPUA NEW GUINEA (Patpatar tribe)
The Patpatars have heard God's Talk and same are "one stomach" (in agreement) with it. Praise God for the new believers we will someday meet, and pray for those who have not yet responded to the teaching.
When praying today about a Philippine translation that has taken 20 years and is now in the printing stage, God reminded me that I may not have had a part in that particular translation, but I do pray for translators, additional laborers, hurting workers, difficult bureaucracy situations, technical/ mechanical difficulties, indifferent hearts, and those who support. My role is just as vital as those on the field.
